Bringing new life into the world is a miraculous experience, one that has traditionally been associated with pain and struggle. However, there's a powerful message of hope and transformation sweeping through faith communities: childbirth can be a glorious, joyful experience when approached with faith and an understanding of God's design.
At the heart of this revelation is the understanding that Jesus broke the curse of pain in childbirth. This perspective challenges conventional ideas surrounding pregnancy and delivery, inviting women to embrace a new paradigm of peace, joy, and supernatural ease. I’ve written a book and released a soaking prayer album called Childbirth in the Glory that deals with this subject in detail. All over the world couples are embracing this message and testifying about the supernatural miracles they are experiencing as they practically put this divine revelation into practice.
The journey begins with conception. For those struggling with infertility, there's encouragement to hold onto faith and not partner with disappointment or fear. The stories of Sarah and Elizabeth from the Bible serve as powerful reminders that God can bring forth life even in seemingly impossible circumstances. One of the main keys is to cling to faith and continue declaring God's promises over your life… not letting go… no matter what!
Throughout pregnancy, I encourage women to create an atmosphere of glory in their day-to-day lives. This involves daily inviting heaven into their heart, while actively resisting fear and negative reports, instead choosing to align with God's Word and His promises. It's about making a conscious decision to move in the opposite spirit when faced with challenging circumstances or discouraging medical reports.
I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Rebecca Mann Kelly, a beautiful woman of God, who has received a real down-to-earth revelation about the finished work of Christ. She shared with me her own personal experience of having a Childbirth in the Glory. One powerful testimony that she shared was, despite being told that she possibly had gestational diabetes, she chose not to receive that report. Instead, she followed medical advice while maintaining her faith that nothing was wrong with her or her baby. This approach of combining practical wisdom with unwavering faith is a cornerstone of experiencing pregnancy in God's glory.
The concept of "divine acceleration" was another key prayer point that Rebecca focused on during labor. This involves calling upon the Holy Spirit to supernaturally speed up the birthing process. Throughout our conversation we shared many testimonies of what can happen when you have a Childbirth in the Glory, which includes remarkably fast and easy deliveries after praying for divine acceleration.
Creating the right atmosphere during labor is crucial. I go over these details in my Childbirth in the Glory book and even provide check-lists that you can prepare in advance, to be supernaturally ready when it comes to labor and delivery. Some examples of creating a glorious atmosphere include anointing the delivery room with oil, playing peaceful worship music, and continually speaking the name of Jesus. These practices invite God's presence and power into the birthing process, often resulting in supernatural interventions and astonishingly smooth deliveries. Intentionally speaking the Word of God with true conviction releases Angels into the room and this brings even greater comfort during the process.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that many people who are experiencing Childbirth in the Glory are confounding medical professionals. Despite initial predictions of a long and difficult labor, many babies are born after just one push, sliding out with remarkable ease. This testimony serves as a powerful reminder of God's ability to defy natural expectations and bring about miraculous outcomes for those who determine to agree with the perfection of God’s design.
It's important to note that experiencing Childbirth in the Glory isn't just about the initial physical process. It extends to the postpartum period as well. Women are encouraged to reject cultural norms of postpartum depression and instead embrace a season of abundant joy in God's presence. Practical strategies, such as praying for supernatural multiplication of sleep and declaring restful nights over newborns, are ways to navigate this period with grace and peace. Much of this is discussed in my conversation with Rebecca Mann Kelly and you’ll want to be sure to listen with attentive ears. These revelations from God can change your life and those of your family forever!
The message of Childbirth in the Glory speaks to a broader understanding of God's original design for women. There's a call for women to step into their God-given authority and power, working alongside men to advance God's kingdom on earth. Rebecca delves deeper into this subject in her newly released book Return to the Garden.Â
This perspective challenges the idea that male dominance over women is God's design, instead framing it as part of the curse that Jesus came to break. Women are encouraged to embrace their identity as powerful warriors in God's kingdom, created in His image and given authority and dominion over the earth.
The ultimate goal is to raise up an army of believers - both men and women - who understand and walk in God's original design. This involves breaking free from fear, control, manipulation, and any other bondages that keep individuals from fully embracing their God-given identity and purpose. Both books, Childbirth in the Glory and Return to the Garden will help you re-align your mind with the glorious truth of the gospel.
As we reflect on these powerful truths, we're invited to examine our own beliefs and experiences. Have we been limiting God's power in our lives by accepting cultural traditions that contradict His promises? Are we walking in the fullness of the freedom and authority that Jesus secured for us?
Let's challenge ourselves to embrace a new perspective - one that sees pregnancy, childbirth, and indeed all of life through the lens of God's glory. It's an invitation to step into a realm where joy, freedom, healing, deliverance, and miracles are the norm rather than the exception.
As we do so, we open ourselves up to experiencing God's supernatural intervention in every area of our lives. We position ourselves to be part of a powerful move of God on the earth, where His glory is manifested through His people in unprecedented ways.
May we have the courage to break free from limiting beliefs and step into the fullness of what God has for us. May we arise and shine, allowing His glory to radiate in and through us, impacting not just our own lives but the lives of generations to come.
In this journey of faith, let's remember that God's glory is not just a distant concept, but a tangible reality available to us here and now. As we align ourselves with His promises and walk in faith, we open the door for heavenly glory to flow freely into our lives, bringing transformation and abundant life.
